The building is big and the rooms are fairly quiet with heating, a king bed.

The service at this hotel was friendly! The room was updated and spotless with 2 full-size beds. The staff were super-friendly and outstandingly kind. The wake-up service and ironing were free of charge. There was a small restaurant with excellent meals.

A Comfortable Stay
My stay at this place was really nice over the four days I was there. The room I had was great - it was spacious with two full-size beds and had a good view. The shower was just as described. 🛏️

Customer service is excellent. Omar the bellman went out of his way to assure we had a great stay. Front desk and valet service was very prompt and helpful. The staff is very friendly, and housekeeping did a great job of keeping my room clean. The location is also great--close to the convention center for those super early mornings, and far enough from the French Quarter to avoid the madness. There are also several really good restaurants in the area.
It took forever to get the food and when we were missing items, the kitchen was closed so they couldn't do anything. The hotel was also grossly understaffed, possibly due to local events, resulting in delays in room cleaning and getting new towels.

Well we stayed in the King Size Suite which was lovely. We had a room on one of the top floors so we also had a great view of the city. I am a clean fanatic but the suite was very very clean and modern. The sheets were ultra white; which is a must for me. The staff were very helpful... Stacy or Tracy who actually answered the Customer Service line when I called to ensure I was heading in the right direction. Charnel (pronounced like the perfume) who worked at the front desk was very helpful and nice.
Well the parking is an absolute mess. You can pay for valet which is a very very small lot to the left of the hotel for 30.00 a day. Or you can walk about a block and half and park at a garage for $20.00 a night; which is what I did. When we pulled up to get our luggage out and to check in; the street right there is very very busy and I had to double park as cars were spending by. Honking their horns as they were trying to make sure out of lane. That part was a mess.

The hotel's breakfast was impressive with delicious choices, even Community coffee. Our room was comfortable and worth the price. We had an issue with early check-in, but they accommodated us and were friendly throughout our stay. Overall I'll recommend Marriott.

The room was immaculate and the staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The fitness room is not huge but well maintained and with nice extras - such as towels and free fresh fruit. I'd pick this hotel again and rec'd it to family and friends.
